Position: Event and Groups sales Coordinator
About: The Event Marketing Coordinator position entails working closely with the Event Marketing leadership and members of the Events team to support the development and production of events, rental events, and commercial filming projects specific to hotels. The role involves overseeing various projects or accounts, collaborating with internal or external clients to identify project teams, assign responsibilities, allocate resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely project completion. Effective communication of project status and results is essential, along with adherence to project management processes and standards.
Requirements: One to three years of experience in a similar role; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; organizational capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously; ability to problem-solve and work independently in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines; excellent organizational planning and project management skills; ability to develop professional relationships resulting in effective communication; demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness; respect for company functions and collaborative team-working skills; willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of project development processes, budgeting, and timeline creation; demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and effective communication skills; certification in project management is a plus.
