Position: Equestrian Event Operations Manager – LAEC
About: The Los Angeles Equestrian Center (LAEC), located in Griffith Park, is a renowned 75-acre property dedicated to the equestrian community. It serves as a hub for horse-related activities, offering boarding facilities, training arenas, and hosting various equestrian events and special showcases, blending nature’s charm with LA’s cultural scene.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Equine Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field; 3+ years of experience in event operations or venue management, preferably in equestrian centers, sports complexes, or large event venues; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), project management software, and familiarity with CAD drawings; Knowledge of horse show and equestrian event operations, private event logistics, and LAEC facilities; Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate uneven terrain; Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
