Position: Enterprise Cafeteria Catering Supervisor
About: Green Top Farms is a company founded by a farmer-turned-public-school-teacher with a mission to build a more sustainable and equitable food system in New York. They have a strong focus on providing fresh, nutritious foods to families, schools, food pantries, and the broader community. During the COVID Pandemic, they focused on serving NYC City Agencies and non-profit organizations. Their menus prioritize nutritious and delicious food to enhance community well-being.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years supervisory/management experience in a food service environment (catering, commissary, or banquet preferred); 1+ years in a catering or banquet setting; ability to carry over 50 pounds and remain standing for long periods of time; excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong tech skills (including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace), and creative problem-solving skills; passionate about local food and nutrition, with a flexible schedule availability; bilingual strongly preferred (Spanish)
