Position: Employment Consultant
About: Sycamore Services, Inc. located in an undisclosed location, is a human service organization specializing in providing support and opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The Employment Services department focuses on developing employment opportunities, coordinating with employers for hiring, training, and ongoing support for individuals with disabilities to maintain meaningful employment and foster lasting relationships in the workplace and community.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation, Special Education, Public Relations, or closely related discipline, with at least four years of experience in human services related to people with disabilities; Knowledge of Supported Employment, Social Role Valorization, and experience in job development, task analysis, data collection, job analysis, and work site training preferred; Membership in professional, business, or community organizations considered an asset; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to keep accurate documentation; Valid driver’s license for transportation to work sites; Willingness to work non-standard/flexible hours; Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds with upper body leverage strength
