Position: Emerging Store Manager
About: Walgreens is looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Store Manager to support the overall operation of the Pharmacy and Retail Store. The Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in managing the front end of the store, supervising the store team, leading customer service initiatives, and ensuring efficient store operations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, all majors welcome or satisfactorily completed a Walgreens Community Internship Program or High School Diploma/GED and two years of experience in a supervisory position; demonstrated leadership abilities, including professional business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills; completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training within 12 weeks of ESM start date; must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends; willingness to accept promotion into a Store Manager position and relocate if required; ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring Area
