Position: Emerging Store Manager
About: Walgreens is looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join their Pharmacy and Retail Store team. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for supervising customer service associates and designated hitters, managing the front end of the store, and collaborating with the Store Manager to ensure the overall operation of the store aligns with company objectives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, all majors welcome; OR satisfactorily completed a Walgreens Community Internship Program; OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of experience in a supervisory position; Demonstrated leadership abilities including professional business ethics, self-motivation, strong communication skills, and business acumen; Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training within 12 weeks of ESM start date; Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends; Willingness to accept promotion into a Store Manager position if offered; Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area
