Position: Elementary Cook
About: Coordinates the Food Service Program at Poquonock Elementary School. Under the direction of the Food Service Coordinator, the role involves leading and performing all duties necessary to operate a successful elementary school cafeteria breakfast/lunch program. Responsibilities include assisting kitchen staff, preparing lunch and breakfast, maintaining records, ordering and managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, and fostering good relationships with staff, faculty, and students. A Serv Safe Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Serv Safe Certification required within 30 days of hire
