Position: Electrical Engineer/Superintendent
About: CalPortland, a company with over 130 years of history and a prominent role in the construction industry, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for their cement manufacturing plant in Oro Grande, CA. This position focuses on maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Instrumental Engineering preferred; minimum of ten years of electrical experience in cement, construction materials, or related manufacturing industries; strong knowledge and skills in electrical design, power distribution, systems, equipment, automation, instrumentation, and control systems; familiarity with Microsoft Office, PLC systems (Siemens and Allen Bradley preferred), and National Electrical Code (NEC); willingness to travel to company facilities and meetings; self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
