Position: Early Childhood Educator
About: Insight Global is seeking onsite Lead Head Start Teachers in Columbus, OH. The day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing learning experiences, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, using assessment tools, and promoting children’s progress as per the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework. The ideal candidate will provide responsive care, effective teaching, and maintain an organized learning environment to prepare children for school success. Strong nurturing relationships with children and families are essential, along with adherence to Head Start performance standards, agency policies, Child Care Licensing rules, and regulations.
Requirements: One year of experience in a preschool/daycare classroom (ages 3 to 5); An associate, bachelor, or advanced degree in a related field with coursework equivalent to a major in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and experience in teaching preschool children; Experience in adapting curriculum for at-risk, special needs, and culturally diverse populations; Ability to make informed decisions, apply knowledge, use critical thinking skills, and problem-solve complex situations; Must pass background and drug tests, have Federal fingerprinting, and hold a valid driver’s license. Unemployment approval during the Summer is available.
