Position: Early Childhood – Cook
About: The Center Cook position involves supervising food preparation for children and ensuring kitchen cleanliness, inventory management, and safety. Duties include following menus, cooking and delivering meals, maintaining hygiene, managing inventory, and assisting with supply orders. The role requires adherence to center policies and state regulations, along with continuous professional development.
Requirements: Maintain a valid First Aid and CPR Certification; Obtain Food Preparation and Nutrition Training certification (four hours) within the first 30 days of employment; Maintain a satisfactory criminal records and comprehensive background check; Complete 18 hours of professional development training annually; Ability to lift 30 lbs; Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to move as the position requires
