Position: DVSA Program Volunteer Coordinator
About: Catholic Charities, a renowned organization dedicated to providing help and hope for those in need for the past 100 years, is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to manage the volunteer program for the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the ongoing support and resources necessary for the program’s success, along with engaging in strategic public relations and fundraising efforts.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; 1-2 years of related experience and/or training preferred; solid knowledge of social work practices; experience in fundraising and event planning desired; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; proficient in Microsoft Office products; must pass criminal background and Motor Vehicle Record checks; willingness to travel to service area sites and occasional overnight travel; ability to work some evenings and weekends
