Position: Donor Relations and Events Manager

About: The Library Foundation of Los Angeles (LFLA) provides critical support to the Los Angeles Public Library resulting in free programs, resources, and services available to the hundreds of thousands of adults, children, and youth in Los Angeles. They achieve this mission through fundraising, advocacy, and producing innovative programs that strengthen the Library and promote greater awareness of its life-changing and dream-fueling resources.

Requirements: 4+ years of experience in event planning and donor relations/stewardship; Experience producing fundraising events of varying levels of complexity; Proven ability to work with volunteer leaders, donors, and patrons, handle confidential information, and exercise discretion; Exceptional customer/donor service skills; Excellent project management skills and attention to detail; Ability to work autonomously, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines; Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and MS Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills preferred; Experience with CRM software like Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge is a plus; The ideal candidate will bring a strong portfolio and network of event vendors
