Position: Donor Relations and Events Manager
About: The Library Foundation of Los Angeles (LFLA) is seeking a dedicated Donor Relations & Events Manager to join their team. The position involves leading fundraising events and managing relationships with mid-level donors to support the organization’s mission. This role requires enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a commitment to increasing donor engagement and retention at LFLA events.
Requirements: 4+ years of experience in event planning and donor relations/stewardship; Experience producing fundraising events of varying levels of complexity; Proven ability to work with volunteer leaders, donors, and patrons, handle confidential information, and exercise discretion; Exceptional customer/donor service skills; Excellent project management skills and attention to detail; Ability to work autonomously, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines; Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and MS Office Suite, with intermediate excel skills preferred; Experience with CRM software; Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge is a plus; Strong portfolio and network of event vendors
