Position: Distillery Assistant I – Tarnished Truth Distillery, The Historic Cavalier Hotel
About: The Distillers Assistant (DA) at Tarnished Truth Distilling Company is responsible for assisting in all production components of distilled spirits. This role involves tasks such as product development, production, recordkeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory management, product packaging, and event coordination and attendance.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of employment with a distilled spirits or beer manufacturing company; experience in manufacturing distilled spirits or beer; experience in manufacturing facilities; knowledge of state and federal distilled spirits guidelines and laws; advanced knowledge of distilled spirits and/or beer manufacturing procedures including fermentation, barreling, bottling, reporting, and aging; ability to apply basic mathematical skills for proofing spirits; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required; strong computer skills, including Excel and Word; good attitude and work ethic; ability to read, write, and speak basic English
