Position: Director, Special Events
About: Warner Bros. Discovery, a global entertainment company, is seeking a Director of Special Events to lead the Warner Bros. Special Events department in Burbank, CA. The Event Director will play a strategic role in planning, organizing, and executing events that align with organizational goals, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and revenue growth.
Requirements: BA Degree preferred; 8 years of experience in an Event Manager or Event Director role managing events with food & beverage, lighting design, audio, and logistics; 4-6 years of team management experience; exceptional organizational and project management skills; strong leadership abilities; ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in event management software; ability to work under pressure and solve problems in real-time
