Position: Director of Venue and Events Management
About: Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is seeking a Director of Venue and Events Management for its Venue and Events Management Department. The role focuses on driving the growth and success of BRCC’s facility rental and events management services for both internal and external events. The Director will lead a team to deliver high-impact services, implement innovative business development strategies, and ensure strong client engagement for revenue generation.
Requirements: Associate Degree with 6 years of progressively responsible management experience in event planning or a related field; 4 years of leadership experience in managing special events, conferences, or similar revenue-generating venues; Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends; Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
