Position: Director of Operations
About: Valet Living Doorstep is a leading waste and recycling collection amenity servicing over 2 million apartment homes across 40 states. The Director of Operations position at Valet Living plays a critical role within the organization, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. This role involves overseeing daily activities in a designated region, focusing on optimal management and high-performance levels to drive operational excellence consistently.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 7 years of management experience, with at least 2 years managing remote teams; proven experience in retail, hospitality, home services, or relevant B2B services industry; strong background as a General Manager highly desirable; proficiency in P&L or Cost Center Control; experience in implementing successful business remediation practices; previous leadership in an organization with a large part-time workforce preferred; proven ability to build and lead high-performance teams; excellent written and oral communication skills; advanced project management skills; ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, high-pressure environment; proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power Point; track record of utilizing business analytics for performance improvement and decision-making; ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
