Position: Director of Housekeeping
About: Proper Hospitality is looking for an experienced Director of Housekeeping to join the team at Shelborne Miami Beach by Proper, a renowned hotel re-opening and debuting in their portfolio in early 2025. The property will introduce four vibrant new food & beverage destinations, including an all-day signature restaurant, a lobby bar-lounge, and curated cafe, along with resort amenities such as a spacious pool, lush garden lounge, indoor-outdoor cabanas, and more than 15,000 square feet of event space.
Requirements: Proven experience in housekeeping management, ideally within a boutique or luxury hotel environment; strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on service excellence; excellent organizational and time management abilities; exceptional attention to detail and commitment to luxury-level cleanliness; ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in housekeeping software and basic office applications (Word, Excel); flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
