Position: Director of Housekeeping
About: The Director of Housekeeping at a luxury hotel is responsible for overseeing the Housekeeping Department, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and guest service throughout the property. The role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, implementing cleaning programs, and upholding hotel standards and policies. The Director plays a crucial role in maximizing guest satisfaction and operational efficiency at the hotel property.
Requirements: At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience; Supervisory experience required; Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities; Exceptional problem-solving skills; High standards of personal appearance and grooming; Ability to maintain confidentiality; Flexibility to work long hours as needed
