Position: Director of Executive Events – Massey
About: Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, a part of Virginia Commonwealth University, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Executive Events to lead high-profile events aligning with the center’s mission to advance cancer research, treatment, and community engagement. This pivotal role involves strategic event planning, coordination, and execution, enhancing the center’s reputation and supporting leadership initiatives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, communications, marketing, or related field required; master’s degree preferred; 7-10 years of leadership in event planning, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or academic setting; strong leadership, strategic planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in budgeting, fundraising, and event management software; passion for cancer research advocacy and patient-centered care
