Position: Director of Events Sales and Services
About: Meredith College, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Director of Events Sales and Services to manage external sales for facilities rentals and oversee coordination and support for external events. The position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, focusing on actively marketing Meredith College facilities and securing a robust stream of space rental business.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales/Marketing, or a related field; 3-5 years of experience in event sales, hospitality, or a related field; proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets; strong organizational and project management skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events
