Position: Director of Event Planning

About: New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District, located at 859 Convention Center Boulevard in New Orleans, Louisiana, is seeking a Manager for Event Planning functions and staff. The position oversees the administrative processes associated with the pre-event and post-event phases, ensuring seamless transitions and high service levels. This role is vital in maximizing revenue opportunities and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction in the dynamic event management environment at the Marriott.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area. OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
