Position: Director of Engineering
About: Thompson Houston, located in a 36-story skyscraper in Houston, is seeking a Director of Engineering to join its leadership team. The hotel, known as The Residences at the Allen, offers luxury accommodations, including guestrooms, suites, and residences, along with top-notch amenities like a spa, fitness center, and multiple dining options.
Requirements: 6-10 years or more of progressive hotel leadership experience; service-oriented style with professional presentation skills; at least 6 years experience in a senior role within hotel facility management; experience with a hotel/residential component is a plus; engineering/facility management degree preferred; must possess strengths in high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, exceptional customer service, and financial management; clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Microsoft Office, building management systems, and PMS systems; demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
