Position: Director of California Fast Food Workers Training Program
About: The SEIU Education & Support Fund is dedicated to designing and facilitating worker-centered, relationship-based, and accessible education, training, and workforce development programs for service sector workers in the United States. They serve as a strategic partner to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and collaborate with other unions, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and employers to help workers access good jobs and promote positive social change.
Requirements: Experience in a leadership role in government, non-profit, or labor union; knowledge of the political/legislative landscape in California, especially Los Angeles; 7+ years of experience in program development or leadership; significant work in solidarity with minoritized and/or marginalized populations; strong multitasking and time management skills; ability to work evenings and weekends; commitment to creating an atmosphere of belonging, equity, and inclusion
