Position: Director, Host City, FIFA World Cup 2026 – Miami, FL
About: FIFA World Cup 2026 is seeking a Host City Director for Miami, FL. The Director will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026 in Miami, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements: University degree; minimum 10 years of management experience in major event operations; proven track record in managing complex projects; strong knowledge of event planning and project management processes; experience or knowledge of the Host City will be an added benefit; experience managing and integrating teams across various areas; client-oriented with a proven record of creating collaborative organizational cultures; strong leadership capabilities; experience in hiring, building, and leading teams; organizational and financial budget oversight; ability to take and disseminate directions and decisions; strengths in collaboration, motivational leadership, communication, and relationship management; ability to work in demanding and changing international environments, adapt to different cultures, and fluent in English with proficiency in Spanish and/or French; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools.
