Position: Director, Host City, FIFA World Cup 2026 – Los Angeles, CA
About: FIFA World Cup 2026 – Los Angeles is seeking a Director for the Host City role, responsible for the efficient delivery of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026 in Los Angeles, ensuring transparency, communication, innovation, and problem resolution with internal and external stakeholders. This position will work closely with the FIFA26 Inc. Director of Venue Operations in the Host City.
Requirements: University degree; minimum 10 years of management experience in major event operations; proven track record in managing complex projects; strong knowledge of event planning and project management processes; experience or knowledge of the Host City; experience in managing and integrating teams across various disciplines; client-oriented with strong leadership capabilities; experience in hiring, building, and leading teams; organizational and financial oversight; fluent in English; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software; ability to work in an international, demanding, and changing environment; ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds
