Position: DIRECTOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE

About: The Director of Food & Beverage position is open at a reputable hotel, tasked with coordinating, supervising, and directing all food and beverage operations to ensure profitability and high-quality service levels. The role involves marketing strategies, managing budgets, and maintaining superior service standards in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Requirements: Education & Experience: At least 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience in a specific market; or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience. Must be proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing. Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department regulations, and liquor laws is essential. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle long hours occasionally and lift up to 50 pounds of force. Mental Requirements: Clear communication skills, quick decision-making abilities, initiative in task performance, effectiveness in problem-solving, and financial understanding. Duties & Functions: Supervising F&B personnel, budgeting, industry trend monitoring, coordinating with Executive Committee members, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting department meetings, overseeing food quality, menu planning, and purchasing. Marginal: Participation in meetings, flexibility to perform additional tasks as requested by the General Manager, and compliance with scheduled M.O.D. program.
