Position: Director, Event Technology II – Langham Huntington Pasadena

About: The Director, Event Technology II at Encore is responsible for leading a successful sales and operations team to achieve revenue and profitability goals of an assigned location. This position ensures the team delivers World-Class service while cultivating and maintaining relationships with key venue personnel to enhance the overall business relationship with the venue. The Director promotes high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement, fostering a collaborative environment that values learning and commitment to quality. This role manages venues with $1M – $8M in revenue and reports to a Regional Director, Venues or an RVP, Venues.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; 5+ years of audiovisual experience; 3+ years of operations supervisory/management experience; 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience; Sales experience is a plus; Working knowledge of audiovisual equipment in a live show environment; Ops 200 & Leadership 200 Certification; Proficiency with the use of computer hardware; Proficiency with computer software and programs, including the Internet and Microsoft Office; Effective leadership abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction and people development; Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
