About: The University of Houston-System is seeking a Director of Advancement for the Advancement & University Relations Department in Houston, Texas. This position involves developing, implementing, and managing a strategic fundraising plan for an assigned college or unit, serving as a vital liaison between the college and the business community, foundations, and alumni.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; Minimum of five (5) years of related job experience; Demonstrated track record of closing major gifts ranging from $50,000 to $1M+ in a high-volume fundraising environment and experience in strategically managing a portfolio of donors using efficient moves management techniques
