Position: Dining Room Supervisor
About: The Fort Restaurant is a full-scale adobe replica of a famous 19th-century fur trading fort located in Southwest Denver, just 2 miles south of Morrison, Colorado, in “Red Rocks” Country. The restaurant’s menu is inspired by the Trappers, traders, and American Indian recipes of that era, known as “New Foods of the Old West.” The Fort offers a variety of buffalo entrees, game meats, seafood, vegetarian options, and homemade desserts, along with an extensive wine selection, earning the Wine Spectator Award each year for over ten years.
Requirements: High School diploma required; looking for post-secondary education in restaurant business, accounting, computers, or marketing; demonstrated equivalent management work experience in a high-volume fine dining restaurant managing 70-90 employees. Knowledge of the Food Service and Hospitality Industry with a background in fine dining; Sommelier One certification desired; fine dining service knowledge; knowledge of word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and publishing; knowledge of special events planning and management; demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
