Position: Dietary – Cook
About: This position involves working in a hospital setting and preparing meals for residents according to dietary requirements. The role also includes administrative tasks, staff development, safety and sanitation responsibilities, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Requirements: Must possess a high school diploma and a valid California Food Handler’s and or SERVSAFE Card; One (1) year dietary experience preferred; Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities; Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with various individuals; Must have leadership ability and follow instructions effectively; Must maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas; Must have patience, enthusiasm, and be willing to handle residents at different maturity levels; Must seek new dietary practices and ensure workplace safety.
