Position: Dietary Aide
About: Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services is a private psychiatric hospital in the Piedmont Triad area, focused on meeting the chemical dependency and behavioral healthcare needs of the local community. The hospital offers inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood, including comprehensive assessments, psychiatric evaluation, and medication stabilization. They also provide daily group therapy, personalized aftercare planning, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program. Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have active NC Driver’s License free of major infractions including reckless driving and DUI. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous dietary experience in healthcare setting preferred. ServSafe Certification preferred. Background Check and Drug Screen required for employment. Requires sufficient body mobility to accomplish essential functions. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel with ease. Requires walking and standing often. Requires frequently speaking face-to-face. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Must be able to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. Communicating fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing in English. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to appropriately and professionally interact with all staff, patients, visitors, attending physicians, and other department representatives.
