Position: Development Events Coordinator
About: Giving Kitchen is a non-profit organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to supporting food service workers in need. Since its inception, Giving Kitchen has provided financial assistance to over 25,000 food service workers and offers a Stability Network connecting individuals to essential resources such as mental health support, housing, employment opportunities, and health and wellness services. The organization has received recognition locally and nationally for its impactful work, including prestigious awards from Fast Company, the James Beard Foundation, and Charity Navigator.
Requirements: 1-3 years’ experience in nonprofit special event fundraising preferred; knowledge of fundraising and donor engagement strategies; effective communication skills; strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously; team player with a commitment to accuracy and follow-up
