Position: Development and Events Coordinator
About: All Classical Radio, based in Portland, OR, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Development and Events Coordinator to oversee scheduling and project supervision for volunteers, events, and community engagement initiatives. The station serves over a quarter of a million local listeners in Oregon and SW Washington weekly, with a global reach via mobile app and online streaming. The position involves coordinating community and donor events, managing event/studio rentals, stewarding volunteer relationships, and supporting day-to-day development and fundraising activities.
Requirements: 21 years or older and able to obtain and maintain an OLCC server’s card; a minimum of three years of professional experience working with diverse communities in public-facing, customer service roles; demonstrated success in events scheduling and management; experience scheduling and supervising volunteers; ability to work both independently and collaboratively under deadline pressure; ability to effectively lead team meetings; professional, friendly, personable, and enthusiastic; reliable, creative, and able to self-manage; excellent written and verbal communication skills; prioritize multiple tasks, manage time and stress levels, adapt to shifting priorities, and proactively solve problems while maintaining a positive attitude; strong PC computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs; highly attentive to detail; commitment to maintaining confidentiality; consistently demonstrates regular and reliable attendance; ability to work a full-time, in-person position.
