Position: DCS Administrative Assistant – Open to CSULB Employees Only
About: The California State University Long Beach (CSULB) is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant II to provide in-office reception and direct administrative support to the Design and Construction Services department. The position involves routine office clerical and administrative support functions, customer service, and administrative coordination for project and construction management teams within the university setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; equivalent to three years of administrative support experience required; working knowledge of office procedures and practices, including filing systems, records, and customer service skills; ability to interact positively with internal and external customers; basic knowledge of university policies and procedures; proficiency in Microsoft Office software; ability to handle moderate to complex administrative functions; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
