About: Prep Cooks play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen at Flanigan’s, with responsibilities ranging from organization and preparation to cleaning and maintenance. They are integral to the day-to-day functioning of the kitchen, handling various tasks such as chopping, weighing, transporting, and stocking to support kitchen operations effectively.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; physical stamina to stand/walk 100% of the shift, lift up to 50 lbs multiple times, and handle kitchen machinery safely; proficiency in English communication and comprehension; familiarity with kitchen operations, including reading recipes and food labels, using POS systems, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
