Position: Data Center Operations Manager, Global Server Operations
About: Google Hardware Operations team is responsible for monitoring the physical infrastructure behind Google’s search technology. As a Hardware Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of Data Center Technicians, ensuring quality installations and troubleshooting. The team works on configuring and maintaining hardware and server software, including complex networking components and protocols, as well as leading small project teams on installations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience; 5 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware; 2 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and delivery; Ability to work non-standard hours and different rotations/shifts.
