Position: Custodian Substitute Pool 2024-25
About: Eugene School District 4J is seeking a Custodian to perform a variety of standardized custodial work in the upkeep of District-owned buildings and facilities. The position involves working under the supervision of a lead person or Building Administrator in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the school buildings and premises. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to prescribed cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for students and staff.
Requirements: Sufficient education to read and follow simple verbal and written instructions; ability to learn about various cleaning chemicals, solvents, and custodial equipment; mechanical abilities to troubleshoot equipment; good physical condition for manual labor tasks; ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators; adaptability and flexibility in changing work priorities; experience in practices for diverse populations
