Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Experience as a custodian is preferred; Knowledge of the cleaning methods, materials, and equipment used in custodial work, and the ability to use them safely, economically and efficiently; Requires ability to measure, handle, and label chemicals correctly; Ability to observe and report needs for maintenance and supplies, and perform routine maintenance tasks; Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions; Ability to get along well with students, officials, and the general public; Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with fellow employees, school staff, and the public; Some assignments may require travel from one location to another. A valid driver’s license may be required
