Position: Custodian I
About: Loyola Marymount University, a Carnegie classified R2 institution in the mainstream of American Catholic higher education, is seeking a responsible custodian to perform custodial work required for the routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings on campus. The incumbent will be responsible for responding to cleaning requests from various campus personnel and Facility Management supervisors, as well as assisting in the relocation and placement of furniture.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum two years’ experience in cleaning and general housekeeping or related work; demonstrated knowledge in handling vacuum cleaners, shampoo machines, mops, and various cleaning equipment and products; ability to communicate effectively and interpret written instructions; possession of a California driver’s license may be required for some positions.
