Position: Custodian – Bakhita Gardens & Dorothy Day House
About: The Coordinated Care Agency (CCA) provides innovative, welcoming, and comprehensive services and housing for people experiencing deep poverty and homelessness. Bakhita Gardens and Dorothy Day House offer safe and comfortable dwellings for a diverse community of women, particularly those most vulnerable. Three programs exist in the Bakhita Gardens building and Dorothy Day House offers resident managed single-room occupancy units to promote resident responsibility, independence, and individual growth.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to prioritize tasks and work independently; commitment to culturally diverse work environment; ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds; ability to work within the mission, goals, and objectives of the organization
