Requirements: High school degree required or GED required; 6 months experience in the housekeeping industry, 2 years preferred, especially in a post-secondary institution; understanding of cleaning methods and procedures, custodial equipment, and supplies; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; superior organization, prioritization, self-motivation, and problem resolution abilities; ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally; exposure to various environmental factors like dust, dirt, chemicals, and extreme heat; physical requirements include occasional climbing with a ladder, bending, stooping, crawling, and operating cleaning equipment.
