Position: Custodial Aide – 2024-2025
About: Omaha Public Schools is seeking a Custodial Aide for the 2024-2025 academic year. The primary purpose of the position is to maintain school buildings in a clean and orderly condition by performing various cleaning and maintenance duties. The role involves tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and minor repairs to ensure a safe and clean environment for students and staff members.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; six (6) months or more related experience in the custodial/janitorial field; successful experience working in a K-12 education setting or childcare center; valid driver’s license; willingness to work evenings, early mornings for snow removal, and daytime during summer months
