Position: Culinary Banquet Cook
About: The Banquet Cook position at a hotel requires leading by example in all aspects of Banquet production and service, representing core values on quality, sanitation, and fair treatment of associates. This role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workplace as directed by the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef, reporting to the Hotels Banquet Chef and/or Banquet Sous Chef. The Banquet Cook should be proficient in various kitchen services such as breakfast, lunch, brunch, tea, dinner, receiving, and amenities.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods; experience in a similar role preferred; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to lead, mentor, and maintain a high-quality food product and service; flexibility to work AM and PM shifts; understanding of customer perceptions and team-building skills
