Position: Crush Wine Bar – Barback
About: Crush Wine Bar & Restaurant in West Hartford, CT is looking for a barback. Crush is a modern wine bar featuring an extensive wine list paired with seasonal, small plates in a stylish space. Our service goals are to provide warm & professional service while expertly guiding our guests recognizing that every experience can and should be personalized and curated. The establishment, part of the Bean Restaurant Group, is family-owned and includes sister restaurant Union Kitchen, a 3-time Wine Spectator Award-winning restaurant & finalist for Best Restaurant: Hartford County nominated by the Connecticut Restaurant Association. Requirements: Passion for food & drink; A team player with a hospitality-first mentality and a keen willingness to learn; Positive attitude and excellent communication skills; Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods of time; Two years experience preferred, but willing to train the right restaurant candidate who shows a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
