About: M/S Pride of America, the first US-flagged cruise ship in nearly fifty years, sails year-round in Hawaii and serves the Hawaiian market from Honolulu, sailing to Kahului (Maui), Lahaina (Maui), and Nawiliwili (Kauai). Currently employing 935 crew members, Pride of America offers exciting shipboard opportunities with Norwegian Cruise Line for various positions such as Assistant Cook, Waiter, Laundry Personnel, Stateroom Attendant, and Utility staff.
Requirements: You must have a GED or High School Diploma; you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and qualify for a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) as well as a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). To qualify for an MMC, you must be at least 18 years of age, be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien, pass a Physical Exam and Drug Screen, and have a reasonably clear background.
