About: Pride of America, launched in 2005, is the first US-flagged cruise ship in nearly fifty years and the only American registered major cruise ship sailing year-round in Hawaii from Honolulu to Kahului (Maui), Lahaina (Maui), and Nawiliwili (Kauai), with a crew of 935 members.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and qualify for a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) and Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC); At least 18 years of age; U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien; Ability to pass a physical exam/drug screen and background check
Benefits: increased entry-level salaries with overtime pay, potential minimum monthly earnings from $3,000.00 to $3,730.00, leading to a gross base salary per assignment of $18,000.00 to $22,380.00 (based on a 6-month assignment and 56-hour work week), gratuity pay (if eligible), room, food, and transportation provided, paid training, friends and family discounts available
