Position: Criminal Division – Entry – Assistant State’s Attorney

Requirements: Applicants must possess a law degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school; be a member in good standing with the Illinois bar or eligible for admission to the Illinois bar on Motion (reciprocity); have 1 or more years of criminal law experience; demonstrate excellent legal research and writing abilities; exhibit the ability to articulate sound legal arguments orally and in writing, as well as the rationale for decisions made; have a solid work ethic, attention to detail, and accountability; be able to work independently and as part of a team, including courtroom personnel.
