Position: Coordinator of Student Involvement – Cultural Programs
About: The Penn State Abington Division of Student Affairs is seeking a dynamic and engaging individual committed to advancing and fostering an inclusive educational community and high impact experiences. The Cultural Program Coordinator is a member of the Student Engagement and Leadership team, responsible for providing support to underrepresented students and developing programs and resources to enhance student cultural competency.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated experience working in multicultural spaces/programs; ability to facilitate training, workshops, panels, dialogues, and discussions; general knowledge of organizational and program management methods and challenges; working knowledge of policy, social, and interdisciplinary issues affecting multicultural communities; demonstrated working knowledge of social identities. Completion of Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Background Check, and valid Driver’s license.
