Position: Coordinator, Event Marketing
About: The Coordinator, Event Marketing will work with the Head of Food & Drink Events to assist with programming and talent planning and logistics for the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston. This position will also provide support across the event marketing team as needed. This position is hybrid in the NY-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week. The Event Marketing team works on the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston, F&W Best New Chefs, as well as many other events across the food, drink, travel, and lifestyle categories. We are a highly effective, small and collaborative team.
Requirements: Education: 1-2 years of experience in events. Culinary events are a plus; Experience: Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing or a related field; Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities: Effective project management skills; Organized and have good attention to detail; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel when needed; Work effectively as an individual contributor, and collaboratively as a team member; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Must have the ability to multitask, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
